IGCSE Biology Recorded lessons

I offer a prerecorded webinar style Edexcel IGCSE Biology class.  There are 35 lessons in the first year and 30 lessons in the second year, released weekly during term time.  Please do not expect these to be super slick as that is simply not my style.  I love a little digress and ramble into topics that I think will interest my students and will regularly add fun videos to watch.

 

Classes are hosted on google classroom and all resources are shared there. “Structured notes” allows students to focus on the lessons whilst making revision notes.  Quizzes and homework are set on the classroom – homework is marked with feedback for those who complete it, including a mock paper in the spring.

 

Lessons are £2 each, payable either upfront for the year, or on a monthly subscription over 10 months for Year 1 (£7 a month) and 9 months for Year 2 (£6.70).  You can cancel the subscription at any time, although you will then lose access to the classroom and resources.

 

You will need to book and pay for the exam yourself, although I am happy to give you guidance on how to find an exam centre etc.  The Edexcel Biology IGCSE is available for remote invigilation which means that you can take it in the privacy and comfort of your own home, but this does come with a substantial additional cost.  The course is assessed through exams only (no practical endorsement) and there are two to sit, usually a month or so apart.

 

You should not need to buy any additional resources to sit the exam as they are all, including revision resources, provided within the course, however a printer (for structured notes and past papers) is very useful.
